Clock Tower, Bisley Our survey of this century old timber framed clock tower found badley decayed posts to the four main legs The leaning timber tower was in a fragile condition and supported only on the decaying external timber weather boarding After providing temporary scaffold support, stabilising and repairing the frame timber main legs with new anchored concrete bases, jacking and winching of the structure reduced the lean to less than 3 mm in the overall height of the tower |
